Jamstack is an approach to frontend web development (the construction of content and interfaces that users interact with). Jamstack isn’t a specific technology or framework, but a different architecture for building apps and websites. Instead of using a traditional Content Management System (CMS) or site builder such as WordPress, a Jamstack site splits up the code (HTML, CSS & JavaScript), the site infrastructure (APIs), and the content (Markup).
These will all be handled in a decoupled architecture. The core principles of pre-rendering, and decoupling, enable sites and applications to be delivered with greater confidence and resilience than ever before.
